Got a new passport for Mal! It was surprisingly easy after all the worrying we were doing about it possibly not working out. New Zealand here we come!

Yay!! I'm remembering New Year's Eve when I was at an Avett Brothers Concert in Asheville -- when I was on the phone with Mallory (in the bathroom so I could hear her). We were discussing how in the heck I could send her a copy of her passport via e-mail-- in case her original didn't make it to Sydney in time.
ReplyDeleteLuckily, (remembering a previous situation involving Terrie and our trip into Canada)...I thought of my neighbor Donna, who had a key to my house. She went through my files to get the copy, scanned it at her house, and then sent it on to Mal's email!! Within the hour, I got her text saying mission accomplished as I was jumping up and down to... TAB... before midnight. Thanks, Donna!! Because of that, Mal was able to get her passport!
